To U.S. House: Bills Supporting Small Gov Contractors: H.R. 4284, H.R. 3714, H.R. 4332, H.R. 4325, H.R. 4326
By SBE Council at 18 April, 2016, 9:19 am
UPDATE: On April 18, the U.S. House unanimously passed (by voice vote) the five bills listed below.
TO: Members of the United States House of Representatives
On behalf of the 100,000 members of the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council (SBE Council), I encourage your support of the following bills when they are considered by the U.S. House on Tuesday, April 19:
H.R. 4284 – Service Provider Opportunity Clarification Act of 2015
H.R. 3714 – Small Agriculture Producer Size Standards Improvements Act of 2015
H.R. 4332 – Maximizing Small Business Competition Act of 2016
H.R. 4325 – Unifying Small Business Terminology Act of 2016
H.R. 4326 – Small and Disadvantaged Business Enhancement Act of 2016
America’s small businesses drive the economy, and access to federal contracts not only helps entrepreneurial firms grow but creates more competition in the government procurement marketplace. This leads to innovation and better value. These bills, both separately and taken together, will encourage small business participation in government procurement by providing more certainty, clarity and opportunity. When small businesses win government contracts, the economy and taxpayers win.
Thank you, in advance, for your support of America’s small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Sincerely,
Karen Kerrigan, President & CEO
